As a non-governmental organization, HCMC’s VAVA was established on April 3, 2005. The objective of this Association is to promote the human rights and needs of Agent Orange victims. Activities of HCMC’s VAVA are geared toward lightening as much as possible the long-term consequences of the U.S. led Agent Orange / Dioxin campaigns that occurred during the Vietnam War. HCMC’s VAVA also acts on behalf of Agent Orange victims in their relationship with foreign and local, state and non-state, actors dealing with Agent Orange-related issues
